Along with coaching students on their personal statements and supplemental essays, I can help with other aspects of the college application process.
Putting together a strategically organized college resume can make a huge difference in how an admissions officer views your application. My goal is to assess each of my student’s strengths and find creative ways to demonstrate them in a quick and easy-to-read format.
The Common App only allows you 150 characters (NOT 150 words) to describe each of your activities. That’s tough! Especially if you’ve devoted four years and countless hours to an activity you love. I can help you cut your descriptions down while still ensuring they express your depth of commitment.
If you need help compiling a solid, well-balanced list of schools to apply to, I can help you with that, as well.
Whether you’re in high school, college or beyond, sometimes you need a little guidance to refine the direction your heading in. I can provide you with a testing program that will assess where your interests, talents and personality fit into the job market. Once you’ve completed the testing, I provide coaching to take the results of the tests and help you determine next steps.
Whether you’re interviewing for college admissions, an internship or a job, a little planning and some extra polish can go a long way. I work with clients to improve their interview skills so that they are better prepared to present themselves in a confident and professional way.
